What This All Means

Style:

Not sure what's the next song after the other one XD...

We can only question the purpose of all that exist and what is our place and relationship with the universe.

...but also working on it

Confusion

Dirving

This song is some sort of critique of modern, hyper-technologized society, focusing on alienation, misinformation. Express anxiety about a world where truth feels unstable and human value feels reduced.

When you need your own time, driving can be escape and help  self-calm to quiet the mind and keep going. We all need some time to decompress from stress and recharge mentally. OR, this can be on your playlist for the long drives.

Natal Em Portugal

Departing

A Portuguese Christmas is different, is a rich blend of faith, family, and festive traditions, and a great culinary experience. Homes are decorated with trees and nativity scenes, and the season emphasizes coziness, music, and togetherness. Celebrated by Portuguese communities around the world, it deserves a memorable Christmas song, with a rhythm that captures the joyful and festive spirit of Portuguese culture.

Isn't incredible as time sometimes file like a lot and others, like just too short. Taking a flew has that. You try to be early with plenty of time at the airport, but some unexpected hurdles and episodes can decrease that extra time, into a stressfull period.

A smooth transit to our destination is all we want.

Hay Que Bailar

Nothing better for a better mood than dancing? This music is an invitation to dance alone or not. Feel the rhythm, move your body, let go of your worries, and lose yourself in the beat. Every step, every sway, every turn is a celebration of life, of joy, of being present. Dance like no one’s watching, or share the groove with everyone around you. Just move, feel, and let the music carry you.

Holiday

For those unlucky enough to live in a country where winter brings a depressing mix of wet and grey, or in a country with only two seasons—winter and summer—your daily routine becomes a way to get through the cold months, while your mind constantly searches for a way to escape. This song reflects your strong and resilient nature in the pursuit of happiness, as well as your well-deserved desire for a break.

Make It Through The Day

We all have that day(s), when a song would help get into the mood of whatever one need to do. This is like a modern pop/soft rock anthem about perseverance and daily routine. I wanted it to have a motivational, almost “slice-of-life” quality, capturing the small struggles everyone faces when starting the day. Hope this helps many of you as it helps me.

Summer is Calling

Sunny days, warm temperatures, refreshing water, daylight/ late night socializing and clubing, many of the things that put a smile on your face. This music with tropical notes and a smooth female voice sends positive vibes for wellbeing, relaxation and  invite to live vividly.

They Call Me Sparky

Being a sparky from trade, nothing better than me to write a song about these particular tradesmen. Obviously, they're not all the same, but there's some common traits in a majority: Very busy, hard to get hold of, handy to get them to fix other stuff. All-in-all a fun song with friendly lyrics (just like them ) and an upbeat mood to reflect their jokey nature.

Ripe Enough

We all get to an age, when our priorities have changed and we get much more reflective, mature. More personal lyrics compared to my other songs. Almost a life-anthem about age, balance, and perspective. I've chosen particularly a slow rhythm to fit the calmness and wisdom accumulated over the years. Why "Ripe Enough" as a song title? because just like a fruit, we get to that certain moment in life where we’ve achieved the right balance in life: not too young and not too old either, just ripe enough.

Je t'aime

What's more romantic than a love song in French. My first try in French language, which was some sort of experience to understand how the lyrics would work out. The shortest of all songs but non-the-less the least melodic.

Across the Circuit

It occurred to me that electricity being very linked to technology,  there were no danceable songs related to the electricity laws themselves. One of the most basic being the Ohms' law, which is represented by V=R*I. How to make this work as a song's lyrics. It was not as easy as I initially thought. Didn’t want this song to be a nerd lesson. Wanted it to have a flow and to be memorable, while also to create a mood. This song comes in two flavours: Normal Edit and Radio Edit. Difference being not only the length but also the rhythm.

Colonial Marines

Why a song about Colonial Marines? Well, why not?  being a fan of the Aliens' franchise, it was some sort of something I needed to be done. Sometimes overlooked in the franchise, these marines would be top notch trained soldiers, hardened to face unknown enemies and unpredictable situations. This music is an intense, cinematic, and very much a “military sci-fi / action” anthem.

Like a Pro

My first song, that I wanted to produce for a long time. This music is for the Blue-Collards out there who work every day, taking their work seriously. I wanted to clearly communicate professional pride, routine, and earned skill. I want it to be a blue-collar / grind anthem, something these hard-working men and women would see themselves represented.

Orbital Mission

I wrote this song to celebrate men and women going to space to explore and research new technologies and ways of doing thngs. The broadcasted NASA's space shutlle mission were part of my youth. a time in which space exploration was in every young minds. A time in whcih TV programs were very into science-fiction and imaginations were led by super-humans and missions to Mars. The Space Shuttles never took humans to the moon and were limited to Orbital Missions, therefore, I wanted the song to represent the Clear arc of: Training → launch → orbit → return. All supported by a Rock music style and footages from Nasa, typical from that era.
